Limestone dales. Green fields. Chill out. The industrial past. Romantic stories. A World Heritage Site. Walk on the Tissington Trail. Discover well-dressing villages. Find out why the Peak District means so much to so many people.

The Derbyshire Dales, in the Peak District National Park, have fabulous limestone countryside featuring caves, valleys and stone-built villages.

Where you'll stay
Newton House

You'll be based in our fine Country House accommodation, Newton House, set in two acres of land in the Peak District National Park above Dovedale in the Derbyshire Dales.

Newton House lies at the heart of the Peak District’s Derbyshire Dales amidst a landscape of rolling pastures and dry-stone walls. This 18th century former coaching inn adjoins the Tissington Trail and is just a short walk across the fields from Dove Dale itself. There are 28 bedrooms, mostly en-suite in the main building and in tastefully converted rooms across the courtyard. Easily accessible from all over the UK, it is a great location for either a short break or a longer holiday.
